About The Position
FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their team in West Fort Myers, FL. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $26-$35, based on experience, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. The role involves assisting patients in regaining independence, improving mobility, and returning to enjoyable activities. You will be part of a collaborative team that values clinical excellence and professional growth, with opportunities for mentorship, advanced technology, and support for a long-term career in outpatient physical therapy. The position features an average of 12 patients per day with one-on-one, 40-minute treatment sessions, focusing on orthopedic, vestibular, balance, and neurological rehabilitation. AI-powered documentation is utilized to reduce paperwork, and the clinic boasts modern equipment and a positive, supportive culture. The schedule is Monday-Friday with no weekends.
Requirements
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Positive attitude and desire to work as part of a team
- Passion for outpatient rehabilitation

Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans created by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, balance activities, gait training, and functional mobility
- Educate patients on home exercise programs
- Monitor progress and communicate with the clinical team
- Complete documentation using AI-assisted technology
- Help create a positive experience for every patient
