About The Position
Trinity Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Albemarle, NC on a PRN basis. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment where you can make a meaningful impact on patients’ mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. A Physical Therapist Assistant helps injured or ill individuals improve movement, manage pain, and restore physical function. PTs are movement experts who evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and guide them through therapeutic exercises and interventions to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of North Carolina
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Strong clinical skills in a SNF or rehab setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
