About The Position

This role involves providing direct patient care to chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire to learn. Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will be primarily responsible for direct patient care.
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System.
- Involvement in the further development of services.
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
