About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their outpatient orthopedic team in Lake Wales, FL. The position offers a starting compensation of $28+ per hour, with the rate based on experience, and includes incentives such as a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus and $200/month Student Loan Repayment. The center treats a diverse patient population, specializing in vestibular rehabilitation, sports medicine, and fall prevention. The PTA will work collaboratively with a team of 1.25 Physical Therapists and 1 PTA in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Both newly licensed and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
CPR certification

Responsibilities

Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
