About The Position
We are currently hiring a home health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in and around Rockford to treat the adult and geriatric population. This role offers flexible scheduling and consistent patient volume, with a focus on putting therapists first. You will provide home health physical therapy services under the supervision of a PT, visiting patients in their homes to help them regain strength and function. Accurate and timely therapy documentation is required, with training provided. The goal is to be the best part of someone's day.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
- BLS CPR certification
- Reliable transportation
- Basic comfort with technology - email, texting, EMR systems (training provided)
Responsibilities
- Provide home health physical therapy services under the supervision of a PT
- Visit adult and geriatric patients in their homes and help them regain strength and function
- Complete accurate and timely therapy documentation (training provided)
