About The Position
A Per Diem (primarily weekday coverage) Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is now available in the sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Glens Falls, NY. The Pines at Glens Falls is a 5-star Nursing Facility and Rehabilitation center with 120 beds, including a 40-bed "Passport to Home Unit". The therapy department is staffed by a caring team of clinicians focused on returning patients to the community and helping long-term residents maintain their maximum functional potential. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists, emphasizing ethical patient care and understanding the needs of therapists for success. They offer a healthy work-life balance with generous paid time off and a continuing education department.
Requirements
- Must have SNF experience
- Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
- Work well with others in a team setting
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
