About The Position
Independence Rehab is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our therapy team at Spanish Fork Nursing & Rehab in Spanish Fork, UT. In skilled nursing, small progress creates life-changing impact. Our goal is to help each patient regain mobility, confidence, and independence so they can safely transition to the next level of care. Requirements
- Active Utah PTA license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Interest in geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes
Nice To Haves
- SNF experience preferred (one year ideal), but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, functional therapy to a geriatric population.
- Gait and mobility retraining.
- Transfer training across all levels of assistance.
- Strengthening, balance, and fall prevention.
- Supporting patients with medically complex conditions.
- Collaborating with the supervising PT on care progression.
- Working alongside nursing, OT, and speech to support whole-person recovery.
