About The Position

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients. Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA helps patients improve independence, mobility, safety, strength, balance, and quality of life through personalized, patient-centered therapy and functional treatment plans. The role involves following patient progress over time and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to promote continuity of care and strong outcomes. The clinical environment emphasizes quality outcomes, consistency of care, clinical autonomy, and professional support rather than high patient volume. TMC provides rehabilitation services to skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities.

Requirements

Be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or license eligible in the state of practice.
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Have an interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.
Have a passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized physical therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist to improve patients’ mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
Implement patient-centered treatment plans that support recovery, safety, pain management, and long-term rehabilitation goals.
Deliver hands-on therapy interventions to enhance movement, endurance, and quality of life for adult and geriatric patients.
Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans to meet individual rehabilitation needs.
