About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant to provide exceptional patient care to people of all ages and abilities at its outpatient orthopedic center in Westborough, Massachusetts. The clinical team provides treatment services intended to maximize functionality and promote optimal patient outcomes, helping patients return to athletics, work, daily life, and the activities they enjoy. The role provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as required by the State Practice Act. New graduates are encouraged to apply; individually tailored mentorship and continuing education opportunities are available. The Westborough clinic has served the local community for over 30 years and treats a diverse orthopedic caseload, including postoperative patients.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
Valid state Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or license in process.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act.
Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with physical therapy principles and practices and Select Medical policies and procedures.
Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
