About The Position
The Clinic This Hallandale Beach, FL orthopedic outpatient office is PT-owned and built around manageable patient care. With 2 patients per hour , the clinic gives PTAs time to guide patients properly, answer questions, and support treatment follow-through. The Position The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of the Physical Therapist and assist patients with treatment plans designed to improve function, movement, strength, balance, and mobility.
Requirements
- Florida PTA License required
- PTA Degree required
- Outpatient experience preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Comfortable working with orthopedic patients
- Organized and professional work style
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans according to PT direction
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise and functional rehab
- Support mobility, gait, balance, range of motion, and strengthening activities
- Monitor how patients respond during each session
- Communicate patient updates to the supervising PT
- Review home exercise programs with patients
- Document care provided during each visit
- Help maintain a safe and organized treatment space
