Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient
About The Position
FYZICAL® Therapy & Balance Centers is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team serving North Port and Port Charlotte. Our clinics treat orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular patient populations in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Our clinics are equipped with advanced technology to support balance, vestibular, and fall prevention programs, including ceiling-mounted safety rail systems, infrared video goggles for vestibular assessment, and proprietary wellness and fall-risk screening technology.
Requirements
- Active Florida PTA license (or eligibility)
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- Interest in orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular therapy
- Open to new graduates
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on home exercise programs
- Complete timely documentation
- Maintain a positive, patient-centered clinic culture
