About The Position
This is a strong opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant who wants outpatient orthopedic work, a flexible schedule, and a clinic pace that allows for quality patient interaction. The clinic is PT-owned, located in Hollywood, FL, and sees 2 patients per hour. You’ll help patients move through treatment activities created by the Physical Therapist. This may include strengthening, stretching, balance work, gait training, mobility exercises, and functional tasks that support recovery.
Requirements
- Florida PTA License required
- PTA Degree required
- Comfortable working with orthopedic patients
- Organized and professional work style
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide PTA services under PT supervision
- Guide patients through prescribed therapy exercises
- Assist with functional movement and orthopedic rehab activities
- Monitor patient safety, tolerance, and performance
- Report patient progress to the Physical Therapist
- Reinforce home exercise programs
- Complete documentation in a timely manner
- Support daily clinic flow and treatment room readiness
