About The Position

CVHCare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide home health care in the listed service areas. The role is based on the road and is not remote. Part-time schedules are available: 32 hours (24 RVEs per week) with benefits available, 24 hours (18 RVEs per week), or per diem (6 RVEs per week). Non-traditional schedules, such as Thursday through Monday, are also available. The posting lists an annual salary starting at $80,000 and notes that the indicated compensation is based on employees working a full-time schedule. Entry-level applicants may be considered, and prior home health experience is not required. The position serves patients in Area 5 (Pittsburg, Discovery Bay, Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley, Byron, Bethel Island, and Bay Point) and/or Area 4 (Danville, Martinez, Moraga, Alamo, Clayton, Concord, Lafayette, Orinda, Pleasant Hill, and Walnut Creek).

Requirements

Current California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required.
Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
Valid California driver's license required.
CPR or BLS certification required.
Entry-level applicants are acceptable; prior home health experience is not required.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant desired.
Advanced computer system knowledge.
Bilingual ability in English and Spanish, English and Tagalog, or English and Armenian.
Associate degree preferred.
One year of home health experience preferred.
