About The Position
We’re looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to support outpatient rehabilitation services in a private practice. This position involves carrying out treatment plans, assisting patients with movement and strengthening activities, and monitoring progress throughout each session. The PTA will work closely with the Physical Therapist to help ensure patients receive organized, effective, and safe care.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Active New Jersey PTA license
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver treatment activities under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Help patients complete therapeutic exercises correctly
- Track patient progress and response to treatment
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Support patient safety during all therapy activities
- Help keep treatment rooms prepared for each visit
