About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility team and provide high-quality rehabilitation care to residents.
Requirements
- Active PTA license (required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans created by the Physical Therapist, including exercises, mobility work, and functional training
- Assist residents with walking, transfers, balance activities, and strengthening exercises
- Track progress, document sessions, and report updates to the supervising PT
- Support a safe, clean therapy environment and prepare equipment for sessions
- Educate residents on exercises and techniques to support recovery
