About The Position
This is a 13-week assignment for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at $50 per hour. PAM Health specializes in caring for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care, with over 80 hospital locations and more than 11,000 employees nationwide. The role involves direct patient care and implementing treatment programs under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, with flexibility to work in various facilities within the PAM Health System.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
- Current BLS certification required
- One year of clinical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System
- Further development of services
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities
