About The Position
National Home Care Agency is seeking a compassionate and reliable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, strength, and independence in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements
- Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program
- Active state PTA license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments according to the established plan of care
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility activities
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
- Communicate patient updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Travel to patient homes within assigned areas
