About The Position
LP Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide patient-centered therapy services in a Long-Term Care setting under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Join LP Therapy and help improve patient mobility, independence, and quality of life.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
- Current state PTA license
- Knowledge of Medicare documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- LTC experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Carry out established plans of care
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and daily living activities
- Monitor and report patient progress to the Physical Therapist
- Fit and train patients on assistive devices
- Complete timely and accurate Medicare and facility documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Support patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and productivity standards
