About The Position
We are seeking a Pediatric Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the Mansfield and South Arlington, TX area. Physical Therapist Assistants earn $12.50 per unit. Up to Four Units per hour. ($50.00). A Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant provides coordinated physical therapy to pediatric patients of various ages in the home setting. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Requirements
- Current Texas State License as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Current Texas Driver’s License with reliable transportation
- Virtual Therapy experience
Responsibilities
- Design and administer the therapy treatment plan.
- Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.
- Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.
- Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board.
- Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency.
