About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with residents recovering from orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions while supporting mobility, strength, and overall functional progress.
Requirements
- Active PTA license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Carry out physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising PT
- Assist residents with gait training, balance activities, strengthening exercises, and transfer training
- Monitor resident tolerance during therapy sessions and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist
- Encourage participation and help residents work toward individualized functional goals
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
