Physical Therapist Assistant
About The Position
FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Port Charlotte, Florida is expanding and seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who enjoys hands-on care, teamwork, and helping patients regain confidence in movement. This is not a high-volume therapy mill. Our clinic model supports focused treatment sessions, collaboration with Physical Therapists, and measurable patient outcomes. The clinic is equipped with advanced technology to support balance, vestibular, and fall prevention programs, including ceiling-mounted safety rail systems, infrared video goggles for vestibular assessment, and proprietary wellness and fall-risk screening technology. This role offers focused patient care with an average of 12 patients per day, AI-assisted documentation to reduce charting time, and a supportive, team-oriented clinical environment. An immediate opening is available with interviews happening now.
Requirements
- Active Florida PTA license (or eligibility)
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- Interest in orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular therapy
- Open to new graduates
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on home exercise programs
- Complete timely documentation
- Maintain a positive, patient-centered clinic culture
