About The Position
San Bruno Skilled Nursing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. This role is ideal for a skilled PTA looking for a high-impact position in a prime Peninsula location, conveniently situated near the 380 freeway and El Camino Real. The facility offers a collaborative clinical environment with an easy commute from San Francisco, South San Francisco, and Millbrae. The opportunity involves delivering high-quality treatments following physician-approved plans to improve and restore resident mobility and function, participating in multidisciplinary conferences, mentoring Restorative Aides, providing caregiver training, and maintaining accurate, timely documentation in compliance with California PT Board requirements. Requirements
- Valid California PTA License.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills.
- Passion for providing quality care to geriatric and subacute patients.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality treatments following physician-approved plans to improve and restore resident mobility and function.
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences to coordinate comprehensive patient recovery.
- Mentor Restorative Aides and provide caregiver training to support successful discharges.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with California PT Board requirements.
