Licensed Physical Therapist Asst - Central Denver Location - No Weekends
About The Position
Mountain View Pain Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for its busy outpatient multidisciplinary office. The practice focuses on comprehensive pain management and rehabilitation, integrating chiropractic care, physical therapy, pain management, and acupuncture. They emphasize a collaborative, patient-centered approach with individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. The patient population is primarily outpatient orthopedic, with a smaller percentage of vestibular and neurological patients. There is an interest in growing pelvic floor therapy services, making experience or interest in this area a plus. The center aims to provide employees with the necessary tools for clinical growth and effective patient treatment, with a physical therapy philosophy centered on treating the whole patient using movement as medicine through an interdisciplinary team approach.
Requirements
- Active Colorado State License
- Comply with the Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure and Certification Standards
- Have an active BLS Certification, the class must be at least hybrid, if not completely in person
- Must have a current Colorado Physical Therapy Assistant license before first day of hire

Responsibilities
- Communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plans.
- Participate in patient plan of care meetings and communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plan.
- Record treatment notes and complete notes in a timely manner per policy and procedures.
- Participate in discharge planning under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Recommend any needed equipment to the Physical Therapist.
- Accept other duties assigned.
- Exercise good judgment in the performance of the job and be able to progress and regress patients as needed.
- Successfully incorporate technology into daily practice as deemed by the Company.
