About The Position
CenterCare Home Health is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their team in Colorado Springs, CO. This role involves working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver skilled treatment interventions, helping patients regain strength, functionality, and independence. The position offers a pay rate of $50 per home visit plus mileage.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current and active PTA license (REQUIRED).
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and ethical patient care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in long-term care or a related setting preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Administering a variety of therapeutic procedures (manual techniques, exercises, modalities, etc.).
- Monitoring patient progress and collaborating with the PT to adjust treatment plans.
- Documenting objective measures and justifying continued services.
- Educating patients and families on rehabilitation goals and progress.
- Ensuring meticulous record-keeping in our electronic documentation system.
- Participating in patient care conferences and continuous learning opportunities.
