About The Position

Premier Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team in Barberton, Ohio. This role involves providing skilled treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist, assisting patients with various functional activities, monitoring progress, educating patients and caregivers, and completing required documentation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with mobility, strength, balance, gait, and functional activities.
• Monitor and communicate patient progress.
• Educate patients and caregivers.
• Complete required documentation and collaborate with the care team.
