Requirements
- Current Missouri PTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused
- Someone who takes pride in helping patients reach their goals
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Lead patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, balance, strengthening, and endurance
- Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
- Communicate patient progress and concerns with the therapy team
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team
