About The Position

Provides therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Delivers treatment programs, monitors patient progress, and assists patients in achieving independence. This is a full-time position located in Waco, TX.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from accredited PTA program.
• Current state PTA license.
• Knowledge of therapy techniques and equipment.
• Ability to follow treatment directions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients safely.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching.
• Work in long-term care and healthcare environments.
• An Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program is required.
• A current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required and must be maintained.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical experience preferred.
• Clinical experience in rehabilitation or long-term care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PT treatment plans for individuals and groups.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities as directed.
• Educate patients on mobility and assistive devices.
• Document treatment and patient response.
• Report changes to supervising PT.
