About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their outpatient orthopedic team in Lake Wales, FL. The schedule is Monday–Friday, with compensation starting at $28+ per hour, based on experience. Incentives include a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus and $200/month Student Loan Repayment. The center treats a diverse patient population with specialties including vestibular rehabilitation, sports medicine, and fall prevention. The PTA will work collaboratively with a team of 1.25 Physical Therapists and 1 PTA in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Both newly licensed and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
