HealthPro Heritage has a great Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Opportunity in our Long Term Care AND Brain Injury settings in Juneau, WI. This is a split role between LTC and Brain Injury Center. The Long Term Care Setting includes Short term rehab, Long-term residents, & Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. This is a unique opportunity to assist in the subacute brain injury center with a very supportive team including: PT, OT, neuropsych, psychiatry, and physiatry. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
  • Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
  • Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
