Are you a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life? We're looking for a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented PTA to join our growing outpatient rehabilitation team in Peoria, Arizona. About the Role As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal conditions. You'll implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, educate patients throughout their recovery, and play an important role in helping them return to the activities they enjoy. This position is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working in an outpatient setting where teamwork, compassion, and clinical excellence are at the center of everything we do.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Arizona Physical Therapist Assistant license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or ability to obtain)
  • Active Arizona PTA license (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Passing NPTE scores.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year of outpatient physical therapy experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and rehabilitation programs
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
  • Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress in the electronic medical record
  • Maintain clear communication with physicians, therapists, patients, and caregivers
  • Assist in creating a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
  • Support Physical Therapy Technicians and collaborate with the rehabilitation team
  • Follow all OSHA, infection control, and organizational policies
  • Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance
