We’re looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who’s passionate about early childhood development and making a real difference. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
- License or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant with the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department: New Mexico Physical Therapy Board and work under the supervision of a licensed PT.
- General Background Check
- NM Department of Health Fingerprinting
- Driving Record (MVR)
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of personalized therapeutic plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in helping children improve motor function and physical capabilities
- Provide center-based and home-based services
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in required training
- Work professionally with colleagues, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support a positive and inclusive environment for all children and families
- Travel locally/statewide as needed to deliver services
- Follow all safety, health, and documentation procedures
