About The Position
Interface Rehab, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a per-diem role at Desert Canyon Post-Acute Center in Lancaster, California. The position provides rehabilitation services in post-acute care and may offer opportunities across post-acute care, retirement communities, and outpatient clinics. The company also offers full-time, part-time, and flexible scheduling opportunities, with shifts available up to 40 hours per week. The PTA will provide physical therapy care, assist with patient evaluations and personalized treatment plans, collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams, document patient progress, and support patients in reaching rehabilitation and long-term wellness goals. The listed hourly rate is $38.00 to $43.00. Requirements
- Hold or be able to obtain an active Physical Therapist Assistant license in California.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy care to patients across various settings.
- Assist in evaluating patients and implementing personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize recovery.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and long-term wellness.
