About The Position
Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting while helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with gait training, transfer training, therapeutic exercise programs, and balance activities
- Support individualized treatment plans designed to help residents achieve functional goals
- Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress and concerns to the PT
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to support quality resident care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
