About The Position
Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health care in Abington, Massachusetts. The PTA provides skilled physical therapy interventions in patients’ homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients improve strength, mobility, and independence through individualized care. The role offers flexible scheduling and pay of $37–$50 per visit. Afternoon availability is required.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- At least one year of clinical experience.
- Afternoon availability.
Nice To Haves

- Weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled therapy interventions under a Physical Therapist’s direction.
- Assist patients with transfers and safe mobility.
- Teach patients and caregivers exercises and safety techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Complete timely and accurate electronic documentation.
