About The Position

Aquacare and Fitness Forum Physical Therapy is a physical-therapist-owned private practice with 12 clinics across Maryland and Delaware, seeking an orthopedic physical therapist assistant (PTA) to join their team. They emphasize a patient-centered approach with fewer than 11 patients per day, treated one-on-one for the entire session, with no productivity quota. Requirements

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or eligibility.
Ability to treat a wide variety of patients including post-surgical knees, athletes, and geriatric patients.
Willingness to provide hands-on care and individualized treatment.
New graduates will start with a reduced caseload that builds over the first three months.
Must be able to work alongside 6-8 therapists and additional PTAs and techs depending on the location.

Nice To Haves

Certification support for specialties such as aquatic therapy, lymphedema, and other tracks open to PTAs.
Experience in aquatic therapy and lymphedema treatment.
Experience in balance and vestibular work, neurologic rehabilitation, or sports rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Treat and work directly with patients.
Deliver hands-on care through the whole session.
Work from the plan of care with the evaluating physical therapist close at hand.
Complete documentation through Prompt EMR with AI-assisted notes.
Collaborate with supervising physical therapists, participating in structured check-ins on shared patients.
Engage in specialization tracks such as aquatic therapy, lymphedema treatment, balance and vestibular work, neurologic rehabilitation, or sports rehabilitation.
