About The Position
We’re looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a private outpatient clinic with a manageable patient schedule. In this position, you will help patients work through therapy programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role includes hands-on treatment support, patient education, progress tracking, and clear communication with the clinical team.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Active New Jersey PTA license
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans assigned by the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility work
- Track progress, tolerance, and treatment response
- Complete accurate clinical documentation
- Reinforce safe exercise technique and movement patterns
- Support daily clinic flow and treatment room readiness
