About The Position
Pro Rehab, an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. We are looking for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the team at Park View Care Center, in Wells, MN! Park View Care Center is in a rural environment that offers a calmer atmosphere and less stress, allowing you more opportunities to build a full caseload quickly. We offer a competitive wage, benefits, and up to a $2,500 bonus paid out over 18 months or tuition reimbursement. New grads are welcome to apply!
Requirements
- Must be a graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and have at a minimum an Associate’s degree.
- Must possess a current CO Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
- Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
- Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
- Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology and anatomy
- Proficient in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies.
- Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care.
