About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for its outpatient orthopedic center in Millbury, Massachusetts. The role provides care to patients of all ages and abilities, helping maximize function and achieve optimal outcomes. The clinic treats a diverse patient population, including sports medicine, pre- and post-operative, and general orthopedic patients, and has relationships with area high school sports medicine programs, physician groups, and a total joint program. Mentorship is available.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday. PRN and part-time opportunities are also available. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour, based on experience. The role delivers patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist and implements physical therapy services in accordance with applicable practice standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
• Valid state Physical Therapist Assistant license, or license in process.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act.
• Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with physical therapy principles and practices and Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
