About The Position
We are looking for an energetic and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. This is a contract position where you will work with residents to help them regain strength, mobility, and independence. You will lead exercise sessions, get to know residents personally, track progress, and contribute to a fun and collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Current PA PTA license
- Compassion and patience
- Passion for working with older adults
- Sense of humor
- Team spirit
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility
- CPR/BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Working hand-in-hand with our amazing Physical Therapists to help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence.
- Leading exercise sessions that are both therapeutic and enjoyable.
- Getting to know our residents on a personal level, building those connections that make their days brighter.
- Using your PTA magic to track progress and celebrate those small victories.
- Contributing your positive energy to our team's fun and collaborative vibe.
- Ability to follow treatment plans and document progress.
