About The Position

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to provide patient-centered care in Williamsburg, Virginia, and surrounding areas. The position provides one-to-one care in patients’ homes, with services planned, delegated, and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with each patient’s Plan of Treatment. The role offers a flexible PRN schedule, independent work with team support, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients and families.

Requirements

• Hold a current unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state where practicing.
• Hold current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services planned, delegated, and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Regularly confer with the Physical Therapist about the patient’s treatment plan, progress toward goals, questions, and concerns.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record.
• Assist in securing special adaptive equipment and incorporate its use to improve function and enhance rehabilitation.
• Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation in the formats and timelines required by the company, facility, funding source, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
