About The Position

Requirements

  • Active and current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Florida.
  • Graduate of an accredited, board-approved Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • A compassionate, patient-first attitude paired with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Impact Care: Administer customized treatments to restore function, mobility, and strength, while relieving pain through therapeutic exercise, modalities, extremity mobilization, muscle re-education, and gait training.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with Physical Therapists and referring physicians to review patient progress, adapt treatment plans, and determine readiness for discharge.
  • Empower Patients & Families: Educate patients and their support systems on home exercise programs, pain management, and injury prevention techniques.
  • Maintain Excellence: Keep precise, compliant, and timely medical records, including detailed progress notes.
