About The Position

Join our Saco Bay PT outpatient orthopedic center and be part of a respected clinical team delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages and abilities. We focus on personalized treatments that restore function and help patients get back to the activities they love—whether it's sports, work, or everyday life. We are seeking a full-time physical therapist assistance (PTA) to join our team in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced physical therapists in a collaborative, patient-focused environment while helping individuals recover from injury and return to an active lifestyle. Our clinic treats a wide range of conditions including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries. Requirements

College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
CPR certification

Responsibilities

Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
