Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Care | Groton, MA | Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Position $37–$50 per visit Flexible scheduling One year of clinical experience required Mileage reimbursement Licensure reimbursement Supportive clinical and administrative leadership Ongoing training and professional development USA Today Top Workplaces Winner – 2024, 2025 & 2026 Your Role as a Home Care Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA): As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with VRNS, you’ll provide skilled physical therapy services directly in patients’ homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You’ll work closely with patients and their care teams to promote mobility, strength, independence, safety, and quality of life. Requirements

  • Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
  • Afternoon availability

Nice To Haves

  • Previous home care experience
  • Monday–Friday availability
  • Weekend availability

Responsibilities

  • Providing skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist
  • Providing transfer training and instruction in safe mobility techniques
  • Educating patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety techniques
  • Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Collaborating with Physical Therapists, nurses, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physicians, and other members of the care team
  • Completing accurate and timely electronic documentation
