About The Position
Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide post-acute care services to residents in Daytona Beach, Florida. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. The role uses physical therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities to help residents improve independence, mobility, and overall well-being in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies or a related field.
- Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Conduct treatment sessions and provide therapy services to residents.
- Evaluate resident progress and report it to licensed Physical Therapists.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary care conferences to support comprehensive care.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and ensure proper storage of equipment and supplies.
