About The Position

H2 Health is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Richmond, Kentucky team. This role is in a collaborative, patient-centered outpatient setting. The Richmond clinic provides comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services for a diverse orthopedic population, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, spine care, balance and vestibular disorders, and performance enhancement. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you'll help patients regain strength, improve mobility, and achieve their rehabilitation goals through evidence-based treatment interventions. H2 Health prioritizes quality care by providing strong administrative support, AI-powered documentation technology, and manageable caseload expectations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic, musculoskeletal, post-operative, or sports rehabilitation settings is a plus.
  • Experience with EMR documentation, scheduling workflows, and billing-related documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and home exercise programs.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate findings with the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Accurately document patient care using AI-powered Scribe documentation technology.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting positive clinical outcomes.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on clinical excellence.
