About The Position

Intune Physical Therapy is a growing company and has partnered with EPIC PT to offer physical therapy services to patients in the Raleigh, NC area. With over 75 years of combined clinical experience specializing in sports physical therapy, orthopedic care, pelvic floor therapy, and advanced rehabilitation techniques, EPIC PT creates an optimal healing environment for every patient. You will be an employee of Intune PT which is doing business as EPIC PT in this market. Role Summary: Are you passionate about helping patients restore their mobility and improve their quality of life? Join our dedicated team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) where you'll work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to deliver exceptional rehabilitative care. We're looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented PTA who is committed to patient success and eager to make a positive impact in our thriving clinic environment. We are open to part-time, full-time, and PRN shift preferences.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic exercise principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
  • Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform treatments
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program or eligibility to obtain, preferred
  • State license/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in good standing or eligibility to obtain, preferred
  • Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) for PTAs or eligibility to take exam, preferred
  • Experienced and new graduates encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans developed by supervising Physical Therapists
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
  • Provide therapeutic interventions including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and manual techniques
  • Document patient responses to treatment and progress toward goals
  • Communicate effectively with the supervising PT about patient status
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area
  • Educate patients and families about home exercise programs and equipment use
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinic operations
