About The Position
Benchmark Therapy and Rehab is a large therapy practice providing services to a multitude of providers in Home Health, and we are seeking compassionate and driven Physical Therapist Assistants to join our therapy team. Benchmark Therapy provides therapy in geriatric healthcare in the home settings that produces measurable outcomes through therapy interventions to truly make a difference in someone's life.
Requirements
- Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Requires a state physical therapist assistant license.
- Reports to physical therapist.
- Must have a valid Driver's License

Responsibilities
- Assists one or more Physical Therapists in evaluating and providing treatment to help patients recover from injury, disease, or surgery in a home care setting.
- Prepares patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans specified by the therapist.
- Instructs the patient and guides them in exercises and stretching.
- Provides hands-on therapy and treatments.
- Records patients' reaction to treatment and provides status reports at the end of each treatment.
