About The Position
Theracare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN position in a busy Skilled Nursing Facility. The PTA will perform skilled direct patient care activities under the clinical supervision of the Physical Therapist. This role is part of a dedicated therapy team with easy access to regional management support and a good relationship with the nursing staff. A variety of PRN hours are available, allowing for work-life balance.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current or eligible for state license
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- New graduates welcome to apply
Nice To Haves
- Prefer active membership with the American Physical Therapy Association (not required)
- Prefer minimum one (1) year experience
