Requirements

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), or license-eligible.
Strong therapeutic abilities with a natural knack for engaging children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using pediatric therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

Implement customized pediatric treatment plans designed by supervising Physical Therapists.
Provide direct care utilizing therapeutic exercises, neuromotor activities, manual therapy, and modality applications tailored to children.
Closely monitor and document patient progress.
Report clinical observations to the Physical Therapist and educate families/caregivers on treatment protocols, home exercises, and adaptive techniques.
Maintain pristine, timely documentation of patient treatments and behavioral responses in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Partner closely with supervising PTs, fellow therapists (OT, SLP, ABA), and support staff to ensure seamlessly coordinated care.
