About The Position
RUSH Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its outpatient orthopedic team in Oak Park, Illinois. The role provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist and implements physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with applicable practice standards and company policies. The team can coordinate coverage needs with the employee’s availability to create a workable schedule. The position is full time and pays $30.00–$36.00 per hour, with a $2,000 bonus and a student debt benefit program.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
- Valid state physical therapist assistant license, or license in process.
- CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Three to five years of outpatient or aquatic experience.
- Proficiency in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as required by the State Practice Act.
- Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with physical therapy principles and practices and Select Medical policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
